The room was reasonably sized with 2 balconies, good prices. Its location was magnificent and amazing, near the center of Lisbon and transport to-and-from the airport and the main shopping centre of Lisbon near to very good restaurants. Furthermore, near everything incl...

Great location but the room were very, very, very small.
After a very long flight we got to Duas Nações Residence to learn one of our rooms was not available. The hotel had no reservation for the second room which met one of couple had no place to stay. This for some reason caused a great deal of confusion with the hotel staff. They were able to find my reservation but not my brother in laws. After some time the hotel staff was able to get another room at a different hotel but only for one night. The second night we had to come back to Duas Nações Residence which meant having to pack our bags and find parking in an area that has little or no parking at all. After being awake for 30 hours, this was unacceptable and extremely inconvenient.

I particularly appreciated the disponibility and the kindness of the staff.
The cleaness of the collective bathroom was approximative.

It was very central.
Very basic. Publicity states "sun terrace, rooms with a radio, from your window you are able to see Lisbon, very well decorated in classic style". This is not correct. There is no sun terrace, radio, views of Lisbon and rooms have the minimum of furniture. Some only have a fan as a form of air conditioning and they are noisy. Breakfast is just rolls and cheese, weak orange juice and poor quality coffee. Even with the windows closed, the noise from outside could be heard and it was disturbing, this is not full soundproofing as stated. All in all, very disappointing and not a comfortable experience. Price too high for such poor aminities.

Excellent location.
Small room and bathroom. No air condition. Disappointing breakfast, especially the coffee. Extremely slow internet.

The only plus about this hotel is the location. But frankly if you research more you will find something much cheaper in the 1 km radius of this area.
The hotel is not at all value for money. I stayed 2 nights here and then the third night at another hotel in the area called Happy which costed me just 35 Euros a night. Surprisingly enough, even though it was cheaper and just on the other side of the Baixa Metro Station it was a massive improvement over Duas. We were given a "twin" room on 1st floor of the hotel. The room was so tiny that once we had our two hand luggage size suitcases open we could not move around. The room had no heating which was not funny for a December night sleep. The whole room had one working plug point which was a pain given that two people will have two cell phones, camera, hairdryer and other such sundry electronics. The next door neighbours could be heard talking through out the night and then the traffic noises started pretty early in the morning making it very very unpleasant through the night. The breakfast was absolutely appaling with cold and hard croissants and stale bread rolls with rubbery cheese being the only option. The hotel does not have free wifi which I think is a general norm in this day and age. The staff gave us wrong or unclear directions more than once. Will not recommend this hotel at all. Given that there is no dearth of places to stay in the area you will not loose out on the benefits of the location.

The hotel situated in the center in one of old houses. From the window really great view - castle and river , besides just 100 meters to metrostation. One more thing - very small rooms. On the 4 th floor very nice balcons.

To be avoided at all cost. You don't get the room you make a reservation for, they downgrade you. Room without airco, cheap fan and lousy bathroom, small and degraded. Very noisy. Luggage storage stank after gasoil. Even lousier breakfast, bread and croissant from plastic bag, bad coffee and fruitjuice, etc.
